Materials

We believe a beautiful piece of furniture begins with the raw material. As a small studio, we hand-select every board ourselves at our local lumber yard. This meticulous process allows us to choose unique timber with exceptional grain and character, ensuring that every build is both structurally sound and visually stunning.

Finish

We finish our furniture with Osmo hardwax-oils including Osmo PolyX-Oil and Osmo TopOil. These professional-grade, hardwax-oil finishes are trusted by fine woodworkers worldwide. Derived from plant-based oils and natural waxes, they offer the perfect balance of robust protection and natural beauty. 

Once cured, the finish creates a highly resilient surface that is water-resistant, dirt-repellent, and resistant to common household spills like wine, coffee, juice, and tea.

Over time, an oil finish patinas beautifully. If the surface ever sustains minor scratches, it can be easily spot-repaired and refreshed without having to sand down the entire piece.

To keep the finish looking its best, simply wipe down with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scrubbing pads, which can strip the protective waxes over time.

Wood Samples

To help you choose with confidence, we offer 3" x 5" wood samples so you can see and feel the finished wood in your home. Samples are $10 each (plus $10 flat rate shipping) - and we'll credit the cost directly toward your final furniture purchase. 

Shipping & Delivery 

All of our pieces are made to order. The current lead time for most items is 4-6 weeks. We are pleased to offer free standard shipping within Canada and the contiguous USA. For customers located in the Vancouver area we offer complementary delivery.
